According to the IMD report, these states are likely to receive rain on June 16

 

1. Uttar Pradesh – Cloudy weather and light rain are expected in eastern and central parts.

2. Bihar – Thunderstorms may occur in many districts.

3. Uttarakhand – Possibility of heavy rain and landslides in hilly areas.

4. Delhi NCR – Light showers are possible in the morning or evening.

5. Madhya Pradesh – Possibility of good rainfall in southern areas.

6. Maharashtra – Heavy rain alert in Konkan region.

7. Odisha and Jharkhand – Heavy rains with thunderstorms are expected.

Possibility of relief from heat

For the last few days, the temperature in many parts of the country has been crossing 40 degrees Celsius. IMD says that the temperature may drop by 4-6 degrees due to possible rain on June 16. A drop of up to 10 degrees can be seen, which can give relief to people from the scorching heat.
