Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is currently on a foreign tour. This time, he is visiting five countries, and via Brazil, he has now reached Namibia, which is on the African continent.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Namibia’s capital, Windhoek, as per his schedule in the morning and addressed the Namibian Parliament. Prime Minister Modi was also given Namibia’s highest civilian honour by Namibia’s President, Dr. Netambo Nandi Ndetwa. This was the third visit of the Indian Prime Minister to Namibia. After arriving, Prime Minister Modi discussed several key issues between India and Namibia, including security, defence systems, agriculture, healthcare, and education. Meanwhile, four important agreements were signed between the Indian Prime Minister and the President of Namibia.

When the Indian Prime Minister reached Namibia from Brazil, he first paid tribute to the Heroes Acre National Memorial, Sam Nujum. Namibia is a valuable and reliable African partner with whom we want to increase bilateral cooperation. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi accepted the highest honour and also assured the people there that India will stand by them to help them in every way. Namibia also assists India, be it military or economic assistance.
