Delhi University releases CSAS UG 2025 Phase II on July 8: Know all the details step-by-step.
Another major step in the admission process for undergraduate (UG) courses in the University of Delhi (DU) was completed on July 8, 2025, when the university released the CSAS (Common Seat Allocation System) UG 2025 Phase II on its portal. This phase is very important for the students, as this is where their course and college preference selection process begins.

What is CSAS UG 2025 Phase II
The CSAS UG system has been adopted by the University of Delhi since 2022, in which seats are allotted to students based on their CUET (Common University Entrance Test) scores. The process is divided into three stages:
1. Stage I: Registration on the CSAS portal and linking the CUET result.
2. Stage II: Filling course and college preference.
3. Stage III: Seat allocation, acceptance, and admission.
Stage II released on 8th July 2025, now students have to choose a college and their course preferences.

CSAS UG 2025 Phase II: Step-by-Step Process
Step 1: Log in to the CSAS Portal
Website: https://ugadmission.uod.ac.in
Log in with your CUET registration No. And password.
Step 2: Check profile and documents
Make sure all the details and documents given in Step I are correct and updated.
If there is any error, correct it immediately.
Step 3: Fill out course and college preferences
Students have to fill out the preference list of various colleges and courses.
You can choose multiple colleges for the same course or multiple courses for one college.
The order of preference is very important, as the seat will be allotted on that basis.
Step 4: Save and submit
After filling in the preferences, click on the “Save and Submit” option.
Note: Once submitted, you will not be able to make changes again.
Step 5: Check simulated rank (on July 14)
DU will release a Simulated Rank List, which will give students an idea of the probable rank.
Based on this, students can correct their preferences (if the option is open).
Important things students should keep in mind
1. The order of preference will decide your fate, so fill it wisely.
2. Know the details of the college and course beforehand, such as cut-off, course content, faculty, placement, etc.
3. Keep all the certificates scanned, such as 12th marksheet, caste certificate, economic certificate, etc.
4. Upload the documents correctly as per the reservation category.
5. Fill the preferences before the last date – the load on the portal may increase on the last day.
What is new in Delhi University Admission 2025
Admission will be done based on CUET score only; there is no contribution of merit or 12th marks.
Now, transparency and fairness have increased more than ever.
All colleges have come under the integrated system, such as Miranda House, SRCC, Hindu, Hansraj, etc.
How will the seat allocation be done
1. Based on the priority list and CUET score, the automated system will allocate the seat.
2. You will be offered a college and a course.
3. If you accept, you will have to go through document verification and submit fees.
